YMMV coupon is still showing available and I've purchased these in the past.

Vinegar is ineffective and can damage seals in the dishwasher.

Add a little bleach and you're good. If you want to avoid odor, leave washer open overnight after washing.

These are just like garbage disposal cleaners, if you need to use one you are just masking the underlying issue instead of solving it. I've never had a bad smelling dishwasher or garbage disposal in years.

Yup. It works. My dishwasher wasn't stinky or caked with gunk, but I had plenty of mineral buildup in hard to reach spots. After running this through it, my dishwasher walls looked like they'd be polished to a mirror glaze. Could I do the same thing with cleaning products? Sure. Is my time spent doing that worth more than $3.24? Absolutely.

a cup of citric acid works great to get rid of mineral buildup.

As a retired plumber I love how people use their home remedies instead of proven products that have to go thru rigorous testing. I have charged hundreds for people that used vinegar and baking soda just to ruin their dishwasher. Save money and time buy buying something like this every 3-6 months. I swear it's cheaper than your cup of Starbucks but people always try to save a dime.

Does this work meaningfully better than the Affresh tablets?
