Heck of a deal. This is what people are asking for used ones on marketplace in my area. Mine had a scuff on the back so I got a partial refund and it ended up being like 90 bucks for mine and the screen is perfect.

Users called me out for saying 27" 1080p at $120 or so was a bad deal... here we are. This is a good monitor, unsure about the actual conditions of refurbs though.

I'm not seeing the $5 coupon -- would you mind posting the string of characters it was so I can see if I can add it to the order?

This is not 1080p, and that used to be a good deal last year or the year before. Monitor prices have dropped a lot lately, though I don't trust Acer since their cheap VAs are horrible. Though this is IPS so it should fare better and this is a decent deal, but would be slick if new.

You misread what I was saying. I was previously downvoted for saying that a listing on here a couple weeks prior for a 1080p monitor at around 120 was not a good deal.
I said 1440p monitors like this listing would go for similar prices. I am saying this is a good deal.

Thank God I waited for good monitor deals.....now we are inundated with them. Why so many now?

My fault. When I buy something the deals flow right after. I just bought a similar monitor for $25 more.

ummm... I'm reading that this monitor is LED on eBay. Folks here are talking about this being a VA monitor? No. Not nearly the same quality.

I just purchased and cancelled.

$10 more seems to get a better monitor unfortunately it's through Newegg 🤮

MSI G274QPF
.https://www.newegg.com/msi-g274qp...6824475366

anyone have any suggestions, the reviews on that msi are bad for the refurb.

While I agree with your sentiment that VAs suck (especially the ghosting) vs IPS, this is actually an IPS. OP should add IPS to the title. If you expand the description, it says so. Googling the model #: https://www.amazon.com/acer-Monit...B0D8LH2VSP

This is a good deal. It was $120 recently but the price goes up and down. Between my buddy and I, we have bought 4 refurbed Acer's from their eBay site over the past 6 years and have had no issues.

Also bought a similar monitor (though with Gsync and 350 nits) from their recertified website (non eBay) 8 years ago and my wife still uses it daily. It was $550, which at the time was a ridiculously good deal. Now I use a Samsung 49" DQHD OLED that I got new for $500 from a deal posted here 10 mo ago-- great deal but honestly minimal (if any) increase in utility for me vs a 27" 1440p IPS as I don't need the extra screen real estate, many games don't play well with ultrawides, and now I am paranoid about burn-in.

That is $20 more ($15 with edu discount). The MSI is brighter though (400 vs 250 nits) in case you are using it in a sunny room.

Guess it went up in price overnight 🤷But now that I am awake and can research better, that MSI has quality issues regardless of new or used. I just repurchased this deal seems that a great price for specs and noone has anything negative to say about it on reviews. Well the stand sucks (non adjustable but I'll be throwing it on a arm.

Thanks
