bought one of these. i like it. it doesnt affect your eyelashes so you can open your eyes while wearing it and it feels the same as if you werent wearing it. i've been sleeping extra hard when i use it and its great for remaining asleep when daylight starts to creep in your windows.

Got two of the grey ones the other day, got that color since a different brand I got that was blue from CVS leaked dye all over our sheets. Was a pain to get it out. Made sure to wash these before first use and had no issues with any dye leakage first few nights so far so fingers crossed. Very comfortable too as a side sleeper.

Past SD posts say they smell like chemicals, the top 3 comments here sound like shills, and "3D Cooling" is just gimmicky marketing, but whatever it's $4 with free returns so I'll roll the dice.

Can confirm that they smell like chemicals on opening (not this brand but generally for cheapo sleep masks). They do recommend hand washing, and once I did that I was able to use them without issue

I've got one right beside me, and I've been using it for several nights now. Granted my sense of smell isn't the greatest in the world, but I can smell nothing at all from mine.

I've bought some other similar ones. Comparing them, I'd say this one is better in some ways and not quite as good in other ways. When properly positioned, I'd say it blocks light better than the others. But it also tends to move a bit more, which then introduces light leakage. Comfort is pretty good. Probably a bit better than the other "3D" masks I have. But fit related things are always YMMV. Also a bit bulkier for travel.

Make of it what you will. But I think this is a good value for the price, and it's a low risk.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank EtherGnat

Incidentally, if you do cold weather camping, any of the masks like this are a Godsend. It keeps your eyes nice and warm, and even helps keep your nose warm without covering it. Combine it with balaclava or other mouth covering that breathes and your entire face stays warm.

I started doing this for light protection when we switched from our dark room tent (which I loved) to our canvas tent (which I love even more but missed the dark room), and kind of discovered it by accident.

We'll be leaving for a two month camp trip for November and December and I'll likely give this one a go. It's bulkier than my other ones but we don't camp light anyway. It seems thicker than my other ones, so hopefully it will be even warmer.

i got these for bed (back or side) sleeping and they ride up my noise bridge so after an hour they are on my forehead, so i can't recommend these. probably fine for while sitting in an airplane seat.

Waiting for the smell to fade until I use mine, it's almost gone and it's been a week.
