nice price for new black 24 gts
just a suggestion to the frugal here, i noticed a lot of people seem to replace their sneakers annually and if you have a common size you can often find them half off on ebay. it's how i got a lightly used pair of black 23 gts months ago for $60 including tax and ground ship. because you are shopping by name, brand, color, size it's much easier to find the listings, just make sure to include "gts" in your search. beware of "new" listings with unusual colors and make sure there's a photo of the brooks togue label as i was once amazed to find an obvious knockoff being sold.

this is a good price. we might start seeing this model in all colors dropping in price soon because the Adrenaline GTS 25 is being released on November 1

$90 for a shoes? I refuse to pay.
I thought the same for a very long time (~40yrs never paid more than $50 for athletic shoes). Until I tried the Caldera 7s - best shoe I ever wore - then picked up a pair of Glycerine 21 GTS and Ghost Max 2 (each for different uses). Each was around $100 but so worth it as most of my foot/ankle/lower leg problems are gone now. My cheaper shoes are now relegated mostly to yard work.

So looks like I should wait if I want a wide or extra-wide version of these.

well, the prices on the brooks website have already gone down about $20. they'll keep slowly going down until they are sold out. i think last year, the cheapest they got was about $100 (for the GTS 23 when the 24s came out)
Troll alert. How much is feet comfort worth to you? $90 for a high quality sneaker is a very good deal in 2025. Maybe you buy your shoes at the Walmart clearance rack.
pay for good footwear, good bedding and good food. we all need to be on our feet, sleep and eat. cheap out on the other crap in your life. I won't wear another sneaker than the adrenaline's. majority of my leg/back problems disappeared. I replace them every few hundred miles (as is suggested with all shoes) you will thank me later

have you tried the Cascadia? I wanted to try Brooks for hiking but couldn't decide on Calderas or Cascadias. Calderas 8 have been on sale on Woot for 100 recently, wondering if I should get these or Cascadia 19s.

I don't recall trying the Cascadia specifically. I was at the Brooks outlet store so they may not have had my size (plus it would have been the last generation model). I may head back there this weekend and see if they have them this time - I'm using the Caldera's on paved trails and the treads are wearing faster than expected (but still feel wonderful). Not sure if they would hold up better on a true trails.
