  4. Next, redeem all 6 codes to your Xbox account online (here) or via your Xbox console.
  5. You will activate 42-Months of Xbox Game Pass Core (now known as 'Xbox Game Pass Essential').

For anyone wondering how this deal works out if you have an existing GPU account - you end up paying about $24 a month for 10.5 months (if you have to buy the Sam's Club membership which is $25 minimum).
If you have a Sam's Club membership already, this goes down to around $22 a month. This whole price hike just blows.

It looks like MS just reduced the conversion rates again. It used to be 3:2 (or 66.67%), then was 2:1 (or 50%) and is now just 40%. BOOOOOOOOO!

yea but you have to stack the core BEFORE conversion. so there still wouldn't be a way to stack 42 months. you cant even stack 36 months of core because you need room to add the ultimate time

I got 2 cancellations, 1 for a 6 and 12, and another for just a 12. Then tried a 6 month by itself and got a confirmation that the card is on its way but still waiting for it 16 hours later. May be an issue with the 12 month cards.
At this point I don't give a damn about ultimate, only want core and maybe convert to premium down the road.

Most Xbox gamers are adults. Even so, not many adults are gonna pay $30/months for GPU. Asking $20/month was already pushing it imho. I hope MSFT crashes and burns with this and quickly backtracks.
