I tried this exact product several years ago in 2020. it was astoundingly bad. I was stunned that something this awful could come from a company that sold decent canned tomatoes. I wondered how they could sell a 24-oz can of pasta sauce for less than the cost of a 24-oz can of tomatoes. I found out. My 2020 review is below.

You REALLY need to try at least one can of this before ordering. I make spaghetti sauce all the time from scratch, and this was such a great deal I ordered a 12-pack. That was a mistake, even for the low price. It is not that good. It has weird taste notes and an unpleasant, astringent aftertaste. I tried to use it as a base, but even with tons of other stuff added the unpleasant taste still comes through. You would figure that a billion-dollar food company would make decent pasta sauce, but there's a reason they're practically giving it away. Save your money.
