These do not work except in the lightest or fluffiest snow. Wet or icy snow kills it. Also, if you have no use for the battery in other devices, a corded one makes more sense (more powerful too). This is a waste of money really. There is a reason it's on Woot and not Amazon.

I have this for snow in eastern PA. My driveway tends to have heavy wet snow. This works well enough that I wish it had a larger opening when I'm moving down the narrow 800ft driveway. It also helps me clear my deck. It isn't light enough to say it's for everyone. I have a bunch of greenworks batteries. If I did not have those I would not own this.

This works well even in wet snow. This is my second purchase for family.

I have one of these and wish I'd gotten the newer version that has the directional vanes to direct the snow off to the side instead of straight forward.

I already have the 80 volt snowblower and I figured this was a pretty good deal considering the battery generally sells for around this price by itself.

I have the Toro version of this. Great for quickly clearing a path or porch, but it really does toss it into the air in a way that can come back to bite you if there's wind. It's also pretty heavy, so for a smaller person or someone who gets tired fast, it's like... not that much energy saved over clearing with a shovel. Might save time.

This is better than the normal "electric brooms" we see here. 80V is a LOT more powerful than the 18V variants. Don't expect snowblower performance, but it's a lot better than the "electric brooms" (which are designed as replacements to, well, brooms)

If the snowblower only shoots snow straight ahead, how does that play out when clearing a sidewalk? Are you essentially blasting all the snow onto your neighbor's sidewalk? Just trying to visualize how that setup works. It doesn't sound very neighbor friendly.

Light and fluffy snow is also very easily cleared with a leaf blower. My neighbors gave me weird looks. But I've caught a few of them doing it as well over the years.

This will be perfect for clearing my deck. Shoveling is annoying because it wants to dig into each board. And if I don't shovel, my dog suddenly forgets its a deck, and wants to pee anywhere. Ugh.

works pretty well for light snow removal, your elbow will get tired. But it works fine, I use it regularly in winter, Western NY.

I don't know if my screenshot is going to be added to this post (slickdeals' photo upload is acting strange) but I have a screenshot of Amazon selling this item. Sold by Amazon. Shipped by Amazon. Not a 3rd party seller. It's selling for $232.74 with the battery and charger included. Amazon is selling just the snow shovel (no battery or charger) for $249.99. Shipped and sold by Amazon.
