I think its more for the people that are looking for a less-garish solution than just stacking it near to the toilet. Essentially just something to cover the stacked rolls.
But I agree with the comments in this thread that this is generally a product searching to solve a manufactured problem.

Personally i don't keep the TP stored in the bathroom since the moisture will affect its integrity.

Yeah I'm not on social media, so is this a thing that's trending right now? I'm seeing more of these deals and I can imagine a few use cases if I really stretch, but it feels like something trying desperately hard to make itself necessary.

I bought this same one when it was $9.95 after coupon in June. Something I never thought I would want or need, but I found it more convenient/accessible for all than keeping a pack of TP under the sink. It makes it easy to check there is backup TP around instead of being called over for a roll on demand.

FWIW Temu and Aliexpress can have these for $3-4 if you don't mind the wait. I Picked up another one for a different sh*tter and its essentially the same thing.
