Question. We used to be able to convert enough core codes into 3 years of ultimate. I understand conversion rates have changed but is this stating we can only convert a max of 3 years of core into ultimate or can we still convert enough core codes to equal 3 years of ultimate?
Also wondering on thoughts of getting only 6 weeks of ultimate for a possible better Black Friday deal?

nobody on game pass is playing fortnite. it isnt adding any value for us

You did it wrong. And no, it doesn't automatically get converted.You need to have your membership lapsed. And you need to add all the core codes first and then buy a month of ultimate.

You should reread that article. They estimate Microsoft lost 300 million in sales for putting COD on game pass. They don't have official profit or loss numbers on the actual gamepass.

So you need to make new account or I can cancel my membership before 8th for example and start again with this somehow? I don't have anything important on pc side, but kiddo does on Xbox so not sure how to proceed best lol. But yeah F the $30 a month when it is mostly 3rd rate games with few good ones over a year but you can collect them all cheap or free eventually anyway.

Just to confirm I had an expired subscription and purchased a 12 month core gift card. Then I added a code for 1 month game pass ultimate. By upgrading to ultimate I was able to get 177 days with an expiration of March 30th. Hope this helps.
