Last time I did it a couple years ago it was like ~4/month lol fark that $30 a MONTH!?!?! I havent played maybe 4 games in 2 years on that I wont be renewing they can SMD.

This only works on paper.

I just actually did this and it converted the 12 month cores to three months.

The 6month core to 2 months ult and the 3 month core converted to 1.

That BS gave me a whopping one year for 222 plus the 25 membership.

247/12 makes this 20.58 dollars a month.

You should stack 3 month pc pass(2 ult) for 36 or stick to the 6 month cores for about the same price.

Dont get burned like me.

xbox is counting on people doing these cheaper conversions to pump up their numbers for investors. Ive done it a few times now but in the end its not worth it for the 5 games over 3 years I'll actually play. Even worse deal if the price went up. I done with xbox gamepass and xbox in general. Im not of a pc gamer but its just better at this point.

No it appears that they you have an existing sub the conversion is less.But then wouldn't that mean the second you put in any of the codes you bought, then you'd have an existing sub so every code you entered after would be subject to the bs it gave me

This is fact I just did this for a friend this week. Your GPU must be expired. Here is the math 3x12mo=1,095days of game pass core. 1,095/90=12.167x36=438 days of game pass ultimate.

Yeah it sucks they raised the price $10 but it includes $10 worth of fortnite bs. I don't and never will play fortnite but there is actual value to this rate hike and not just a random increase.

Microsoft is straight up lying / manipulating. Nobody wanted these changes and they said it was due to hearing our feedback. Fortnite Crew is not worth anything close to $11.99 (not $10). It's just a filler to justify their greed.
Maybe they can listen to my feedback and decouple Fortnite Crew and discount the subscription by $12. Don't stop there knock another $7.99 off - Ubisoft+ Classics.
Yea... Not going to happen, because that will leave GPU at $10 / month.

No, because after letting your Ultimate lapse/expire first, you'd be on a Core plan after entering the codes. Then you'd upgrade to Ultimate and get the better conversion rate for upgrading.
Entering Core codes if you're already on Ultimate is the lower conversion rate.

I'm glad I stacked 3 years GP Ultimate at ~$6/month while the VPN deals worked. Probably won't be renewing when that's over - time to fully embrace PC gaming on a budget on my R9 7950X3D RTX 5090 rig.
