The cheapest? Buy those dimensional lumber from your big box stores like this (12in x 4ft):https://www.homedepot.com/p/1-in-.../100322335 You could have them cut it to size in stores. Then get some cheap but heavy duty brackets (the ones that have the triangle support like in this post): https://a.co/d/g9Ty6PeMaybe apply a finish, paint, veneer, melamine, spray-on, etc on the wood
