Looks like this is an 8 pack, not eg a 14 pack as in past deals.

The past deals I've picked up were a 14 pack for $12 or something, ie < $1/bar.
The current 14 pack [amazon.com] is $14, so == $1/bar.
This is $8.69 for 8 pack, which is > $1/bar.

So I'm not sure this is a useful price -- unless of course you really want only 8 bars and not more than that.

They sell these at my Sam's club in bulk. I've been using it for shaving for the past few months and it's been fine.

This works fine for shaving - gets very lathery (which is also part of this soaps "problem"). This is great soap, smells great, gets very lathery but since the soap is fairly soft compared to say Dial gold or Safeguard it doesn't last long at all.
Other than the soap goes fast - I really like this product (I prefer the blueish "clean comfort" bar.)

I use this a lot for shaving. Works fairly well. Not as good as a decent shaving cream or gel but better than nothing. As other said this just dissolves when wet so doesn't last very long if you do use it for soap and shave. I typically like Irish spring soap or something stronger when showering so this soap typically sits and is used more for shaving for me than anything else.

Looks like the days of getting a 14-16 pack of dove bars for $9-11 are over. Been a while since I've seen one, and they used to pop up all the time.
