no ITX size motherboard has 4 slots RAM and 2 slots motherboards run faster than 4 slots. You can get 64gb RAM from two sticks for cheap which is more than the average person needs.

I have one. It works. Just be aware that the A520 chipset limits you to PCIe 3 on all slots. That generally isn't much of a problem, but there's a few video cards where this does matter and you're going to be limited on peak speeds on newer SSDs. It's like a worse B450 board which can also use older 2000 and 1000 chips. (Don't mess with the WiFi card, those nubs are impossible to get back on.)

Just put a build together using this board that I found open box at a local discount store for $57, and built around that. Working great so far.

5500GT the cheapest "modern" CPU (technically APU) with on-chip graphics for this?

pretty cool it's got three high res display outputs, cooler still that it's 2x HDMI and 1x DP

but i guess if not planning on a graphics card, why not just get a mini pc? hmmmm

I'd only recommend this mobo (well, chipset actually) for the most basic builds. One thing that surprised me about the chipset (A520) is that the PCI-E 16x Graphics slot is PCIE 3.0, which may cause issues with risers.
Luckily AMD gave A620 chipset (for AM5) a PCIE 4.0 slot, which is plenty fine for mid-range and high-end builds.

If you are tempted, the Lian-Li SP850 SFX PSU also on Woot is rated as a F unit. So, don't get it.
