That's a whole conversion deal that only worked once lol and only when this first started.
The foreign Xbox live gold GC conversion to GPU was still much cheaper than what's out there today. Unfortunately thats just a product of Microsoft finding out about the "fee leakage" that we all used to be able to take advantage of and is what is is. I wish we could keep getting it at that price but I'm fine I guess considering paying for more when my subscription runs out in 2027

I mean a lot of people were able to get it for about $4 or so a month for ultimate before so $6 is believable. Although the known method is patched lol.

These are also good for people that can only game during certain months of the year. I don't think they expire. You can save them up and redeem them whenever you have time to game. I have 3 months game pass codes that I bought from Costco back in 2021 that can still be redeemed. I'm redeeming through them slowly since I have a backlog of games and not much free time.

He's not. You used to be able to by Xbox gold for cheap, especially on sale, then you could goto the site and manage your account, and it would ask if you'd like to upgrade to ultimate. The conversion rate was super generous making it substantially cheaper than regular ultimate. You could get a year for around half price of just buying it monthly
