The deal appears ONLY after you add the soundbar to the cart. Until you add it to the cart, it is listed at $99.99. Once you add it to the cart there is an additional $20 deduction, making the final price $79.99. A little confusing/deceptive, but it eventually works as advertised.

I bought one during last deal. Fine for a small size room. The only bug, if you mute the sound in certain interfaces, it will shut down after X number of minutes (5-15).

Bought this on a previous deal. I hate it. The speaker automatically turns itself off after 10 minutes of silence. the _only_ way to get it playing again is with the soundbar remote. Idiotic design.

Also, the ARC channel quit working after a couple of months.

Skip this one.

But how was the sound? Clarity of dialog and bass response are both important

Does this have a connection for a subwoofer? A lot of soundbars skip this these days in favor of proprietary wireless connections, and I'd like to use an old Yamaha sub I already have, and built-in subs always suck.

I just got this one, and I'm not impressed by the sound quality. My much older Vizio sound bars (V20-J8 and Vizio V21D-J8) sound better / higher quality. Maybe it's an EQ issue... I don't know.

The bass, which has 4–5 levels of intensity instead of a volume gradient, is noticeable, but the rest of the sound leaves much to be desired. I tested it using Bluetooth on an iPhone and HDMI on an Apple TV 4K.

PS: This is just my opinion, and I am not an audiophile.

I asked JBL support about this, and the answer was no—it already has a tiny built-in subwoofer.

Thanks. I already spent a bit more for a Sony HT-A5000 because it does have a wired sub port and got pretty good reviews. Got a used one with a banged-up grill for way below retail, which I was able to remove and straighten so it looks fine, and it sounds really good.
