Brickseek does not show any inventory info for me, but the HD website confirms clearance and plenty of stock around me. Looks legit.

I get that it's cheap but AAA Battery lights are pretty awful. There just isn't much power in a AAA. If you want/need a light with easily replaceable batteries find one with AA's.

I know this isn't even in the same ballpark, but I've been using a Streamlight 4AA ProPolymax LED Flashlight for over 10 years. You might find a used one on eBay once in a while for $20 - $30. Nearly indestructible with 300 lumens high, and 50 lumens low. Waterproof to 1 meter, drop tested to 3 meters, class 1 & 2 explosion proof. 2hr, 45min high, 24hr low, though I get less than that because I only use rechargeable batteries.

It has the perfect throw and brightness for daily 'grab a flashlight out of the drawer' use. Don't get me wrong, I love my lithium powered, 2000 lumen, made in China lights, but if you just want a simple light that uses common AA's you can't beat the Streamlight ProPolymax.

After I got a LED rechargeable I don't buy these. At worst get the AA battery junk for $1 or free at HarborFreight coupon if you need spares around and your recharge as your primary. You'll thank yourself for it later.

I didn't think a AAA flashlight could achieve 1000 lumens. I guess it's good for traveling to a universe where USB charging is not ubiquitous?

Found this on clearance at my local Home Depot in VauxHall, NJ. YMMV

Link below shows original online price, but you can see this item on clearance.

Change your store number on the top left to see if your local store has this item. I have found the inventory on homedepot.com is not very reliable if there are just a few units left.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky...?store=915

3 modes: High, Medium, Low
Twist Focus to adjust beam from flood to spot
Durable Aluminum Material

Runs on 4 AAA Batteries (included).

You can test the flashlight before purchase by pressing on the red on/off button on the bottom of the package.

That's why the post says SELECT Home Depot stores…. Posting the location where it wasn't that price would be helpful to save someone else a trip.

Checked my local stores inventory and they do have 1 at this price, but knowing my local HD that 1 was shoplifted ages ago.

get 4pk from costco if it's on sale, that includes 4 rechargeable batteries, well build and heavy duty.
