Gotta give these a try. Just had to clean out 4 flashlights where the copper top expensive brands still worked, but leaked white goo all over the contacts. I would rather the battery go low in half the time and force me to notice. Then I replace and move on. That's the plan anyway.. LOL
It would be hard to go wrong with these. I just looked at a 48 pack of Kirkland AAA batteries at Costco for $16 or 33¢ each. These are less than 13¢ each. Even if they lasted half the time they're probably a better value. The general rule of thumb when it comes to batteries is to buy based on price (obviously comparing similar battery types,etc.). And I tend to exclude any with a reputation for leakage, regardless of price. Unless these are 'leakers' this seems to be a great price.

i had the same question particularly since i bought the kirkland recently. one difference is that per packaging the kirkland batteries are good for 12 years versus the 5 for amazon. that said if this deal had been posted a few days earlier i would have bought these
if you don't need 1.5v I would go for the nimh Amazon basics for about .53 on sale. they last at least 2 years or many many charges. if you get at least 5 charges out of them they will amortize
What does "Alkaline Industrial Batteries" mean? Anything different from regular consumer alkaline batteries?
Usually any consumer protection warnings aren't prevalent. Like basic instructions like don't eat or give to kids as toys.
Otherwise at this price they're the same exact thing as smaller retail packed batteries Amazon Basics sells. 5 year shelf life? It'll be more of an issue of you being able to use this many batteries before they expire and you'd probably save half the money by buying 1/4 of the amount. As the other 3/4 will end up never being used and thrown away, yet rotting on your shelf.
