This had an incredibly annoying Alexa skill. It would make me re-authenticate my account every few days, usually when I was ready to get to sleep. And you couldn't address the device directly, you had to ask Winix to tell the device to do something. I wasn't too sad when the motor started whining and I had to toss it.
I've heard of other people having WiFi connection trouble but mine has been running fine for 3 years without wifi issue. The fan did start making whining noise after close to a year but it was replaced under warranty. no issues since
