I haven't built a PC since 2016 how are these mobo?I was leaning towards MSI tomahawk from my research but these are $100 less.

always ran MSI/ASUS motherboards for the past 15 years. went with an asrock recently and have had problems on my most recent build with it. YMMV i guess, but it's dissuaded me from purchasing them ever again

Well, Asrock has been frying AMD's left n right... seen a few intel posts . Never liked them. Tomahawk is always solid. What I went with

Great deal! The 360 cooler is probably overkill for this CPU but free is free if you have the space for it.

I actually screwed this up since they had the 240mm free yesterday and I assumed it was same. Hopefully Newegg will just let me return the 360mm with the CPU instead of the 240mm. Otherwise I'd have to sell it.

instability when running the PC under load. i've reinstalled windows several times and tried to figure out which driver is causing the issue. might've been the built in network card based on the event viewer error i was tracking. i'm also using an old NVIDIA GTX 1080 though which may be the main culprit. I received my new GPU today and i'm going to test the system later tonight. main issue being crashes while playing video games, even light duty ones like the old dying light game from 2015. i'd receive BSOD and steam would crash as well

Can you do the promo more than once? I might need 2 of these.

Edit: answering my own question, and the answer is yes. Added 2 to cart, Promo Code discount -$100, and 2 MSI coolers added to cart. This ends up saving me about $300 in all because I was going to order 2x air coolers for $100/ea, now I don't have to. Great deal!

How old is the thermal paste on your GTX 1080? That card is 9 years old... My GTX 1070 got pretty toasty when running Dying Light years ago.

I've ran ASRock boards my last 4 builds with no issues (3 Intel, 1 AMD). currently running an ASRock z890 pro a with a 265k and 48gb of clevv cras v 7200 for the last 6 months or so and it's been fantastic.
