Been thinking of getting something like this so the delivery guys have something to put the boxes in to keep em out of the weather, good idea/bad idea? Not worried about theft, just wet packages due to rain.

It's a great idea. I have a similar one, different brand, and use it for packages. Although my use case is for theft. You don't even need to lock it. As long as the packages are out of sight, no one will know any different. Most delivery drivers are good about placing the packages in the box off the additional delivery instructions. FedEx is the worst for me. But probably all depends on the driver.Highly recommend this solution for porch pirate deterrents.

I got a big metal mailbox, are these really not sturdy enough for a seat?
Step 1. Place resin squares in a HUGE non stick pot and melt at medium heat. Caution: Do NOT breathe in heated carcinogenic resin fumes. Step 2. Pour molten resin into molds. Step 3. Allow to cool then separate the molds and remove the panels. Step 4. Trim excess resin from the panels. Step 5. Drill 1/8" holes in marked spots. Step 6. Assemble and screw panels together. The use of Epoxy glue at edges will strengthen the integrity of the box. VOILA!

I know because I've bit on similar before. Flimsy and has gaps that let in water and bugs.
