Nice specs on these RAM modules. According to the spec sheet, these do not have AMD Expo advertised. These seem to be more for Intel builds because of the Intel XMP 3.0 compatibility. Furthermore, the QVL sheet on GSkill's website shows only Intel motherboards as compatible pairings with these modules.

Will that matter if I'm not planning on overclocking or messing with my speeds?

It will matter because the thing about AMD Expo is that you click a button and it usually just operates. Without AMD Expo you are going to have to mess around with timings, speeds, etc most likely to get it to work with your motherboard without issue. It's not a guaranteed thing that it will function well. Basically, if you are someone who does overclocking you'll have a better chance at getting it to work since you'll know what settings to change.

AMD Expo = Plug & Play
Without it = Good luck, you're on your own.

Having said that, there is someone within the Amazon reviews that said they got it to work with a Asus X670E-A Gaming motherboard with a AMD 7800X3D AM5 build. They did say "It initially took forever for the system to boot as the memory training was on, but that can be turned off in the BIOS". I double checked Asus's own memory support list for that motherboard (Asus X670E-A) and they do show it as compatible even for 9000 series CPUs.
