You can machine wash it, you should not machine dry it. Maybe you can get away with low temp, but hang dry is the way to go.

Looks like it's another case of people not being able to read. What is it about Costco that attracts so many people like this?

We washed this the first time yesterday. Dryer was filled with lots of white lint and also it just won't dry.

You probably need a gigantic oversized specialized washer to accomodate such rug

at this price, buy a few and toss them when they get too dirty. it costs more to wash at a laundromat.

If you're leery of putting this into your washer, take it out to your driveway, hose it off, maybe scrub a bit with a brush if you're inclined, and let it dry outside. It should dry a lot faster than a normal area rug.
