Modern chipset is nice. I'm expecting to see 9800x3d 5080 builds at 2K for BF.

I'm seeing $2300 base price excluding tax , probably about $2500 with tax via your link. For this build, the CPU is about $450 (incl. tax) and the GPU is about $1,100 (incl. tax). Motherboard is $200 (incl. tax). Maybe $100 max for this ram(incl. taxes), $90 for PSU(incl. taxes), and $100 (incl. taxes) for the case. Storage is about $150 (incl. taxes). You could build the same thing (Most likely with better quality parts for about $2,200 (with Windows purchase), being about $200 cheaper than this builds price. If i'm wrong and the price is $2,181 (about $2300 incl. taxes), you can build + customize something you want with better parts for about $100 cheaper than this. Most definetly isn't the worst deal I've seen, however i wouldn't really label it a "deal" if you're comfortable enough to throw together your own rig. Decent price for a decent build imo.

I had bought the Andromeda PC a week or two ago and started to doubt myself when I saw this. This deal killed me with tax, but I was able to show them this post to get a price match + an upgrade with no tax!

You priced cheap as possible components and assumed their better than what's in this system? Would love to see a cart of components below $2131

Cheap as possible components? No. I priced out solid components from reputable companies. Almost all of these prebuilts have always consisted of cheap parts in many areas except CPU and GPU (those are the 2 biggest components your everyday person sees or looks at). It's the only way these companies could ever make any money. I never said it was a terrible system to buy, I just stated most prebuilt PCs have some cheap components to cut costs. It's the only way they'd even make any money to constitute them building it in the first place. It's simply cheaper to build. Almost always.

I spent about the same building my own. I wish I had just got this one instead.

Compatible parts is the main issue for most people who dont build daily.

Ok, how much are you paying someone to build a PC? Not everyone knows or has the skills to build one.

Your build has a worse motherboard, worse cooler, and no Windows license all to save $40 and have to build it yourself as the parts come in one by one.

maybe swap the mobo/CPU with this - https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/18664165?referrerid=16467787

Oops. I linked the wrong slickdeals post - https://slickdeals.net/f/18662581-msi-pro-x870-p-wifi-atx-am5-motherboard-amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d-processor-499-99. I updated it. With that, it's about $3 more than what was in the pcpartspicker link.
But you are right, the cooler is worse. Here is a version with a 360mm AIO Cooler and the MSI Mobo - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qk7G9C - Just you have to subtract $77 for the MSI deal, which puts it at around $2086 before tax.
Add windows for an additional $8 - https://slickdeals.net/f/18621322-windows-11-pro-lifetime-activation-key-digital-download-instant-delivery-8
I can't tell if the parts are better than whatever Skytech is using, but my guess Skytech will be equal or worse in quality on average. From comments from previous Skytech builds, it could have the same MSI Pro x870p mobo and the PNY Nvidia 5080 GPU, so my guess is that for those components will have about the same quality. As for the PSU and SSD, this is probably where they could skimp out on lower quality parts. Not sure about the RAM sticks.
Not saying this isn't a good deal or that I'm against pre-builts, but this comment is mainly for those who've built computers before. I bought a pre-built last December ($999 Walmart 7700/7900GRE CyberPowerPC), but only because it cost significantly less than if I built it myself at the time.

id honestly pay an extra $40 to pick my own components and build it myself. most of these pre built companies use b-tier or refurbished parts direct from mfg. they don't go but them off the shelf for retail prices. if you don't know how to build a PC, you probably also don't know that the circle block goes in the circle hole, square block goes in the square shaped hole, etc. there's a million guides on how to connect every little part these days by people frothy for clicks on YouTube. but yes, the new gens will have to "try" and thats just too "cringe" for them.

I know how to build a PC and have built many PCs, even with my expertise I have also had to pay many RMA fees. This wasn't meant to rhyme but hey, I'll take it. You do you man but prebuilts have a place , especially when a lot of times they're actually cheaper than building on your own (not everyone is amazon free shipping on all those individual parts etc..) and you have more recourse with 1 reputable builder than 10~ different retailers. Not to mention the sheer amount of anxiety/headache that any build entails. Just ONE part being defective and you're ordering it again and returning the part and it's just a freakin mess/headache that your average person doesn't want to deal with and will pay a premium to avoid, but then again, as stated earlier, often the prebuilts are cheaper!
