I would recommend paying a bit more or waiting for a sale on a Sapphire, XFX, or PowerColor GPU. It's like one of the main pros of choosing an AMD GPU. All 3 of these AIBs have switched to using Honeywell PTM7950 instead of thermal paste, which can pump out over time.

On the other hand ASRock carries a 3 year warranty vs 2 years most other AMD AIBs. Looks like XFX should be 3 years also even though newegg says 2 on their listing.

Microcenter has the shadow 5070 at 480 which is the better deal

Asrock only offers a 1 year warranty. That's how they can sell cards at such a low price.

Many manufacturers use it, including Asrock. It comes down to the specific model. You have to check each manufacturer product page.

Hmm both Newegg and Microcenter say 3 years for ASRock 9070XTs. With that said I couldnt find anything concrete on ASRocks site and that is concerning.

Sapphire and PowerColor are 2 years, but they make quality cards to begin with. I personally would be fine with an overbuilt card and a 2 year warranty rather than a poorly built card with a 4-5 year warranty. XFX is 3 years for their own branded models and has the more modding friendly warranty out of the three. XFX makes reference cards for AMD when they offer them, and those are 2 years warranty.

The difference between Sapphire, PowerColor, and XFX compared to other AIBs is that PTM7950 is standard across all their RDNA4 products. It doesn't matter if you buy a value tier or the mid tier model from them; you will get PTM7950.

ASRock has a convoluted warranty by design. You're going to get different answers from the retailer, and ASRock themselves, on who is responsible and what the warranty length is. This has been an ongoing thing for years, as you'll see if you do a Google search about it.

If you want raytracing, 5070 is around 10fps more in 4k and 1440p...didn't see 1080p results but 5070 is cheaper so why not take that?

AGP graphics ports haven't been around for like 20 years. Is there some other meaning to 'agp' that I'm missing?
