I do appreciate laptops more with an FHD+ screen rather than if it had a QHD/4k screen. For 15" to 16" screens, 4k is overkill and the benefit of extra pixel density vs. FHD+ will be lost. I like the extra real estate of a heightened screen that QHD and FHD+ provide.
Saw that too. But QHD+ gaming might not be good with a RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM
Neither will this if you are that worried about it. Unfortunately if you are worried about the Vram you are shopping in a different price tier of laptop with a 5070 ti.
Walmart version is better deal for $50 more but way better screen

At least you'd have the option. I think any game that's been released already and isn't in the top 20 in therms of gpu demands should be able to handle 2k resolution. However, in the future with Unreal Engine 5, probably not a ton of AAA games moving forward. I'd still get the 2k OLED screen for $50 more either way. It's an easy decision
