After looking what was available in my area, even going 50+ miles out, I agree. Basically if I want barbecue or a localish chain that's an Applebee's equivalent but slightly more expensive, I'm good. But those are my only two choices.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by loan sharks for restaurants in trouble? Are they like groupon where the merchant only gets a small part of the money?
Supposedly Inkind will pay the restaurant upfront for credits at 50 cents on the dollar.

Thanks. Worked for me. Some restaurants in NYC - wish there were more!
Do you have any recommendations for good restaurants in NYC that are also on inKind? Going there this week
Not my experience at all. Love the app and I have some decent choices in my area. Saved a ton of money. Just balancing out your comment. It all depends, I guess.

to be clear, I meant literally at the moment I posted, the app did not allow anyone to check out. I've used it plenty in the past and once it's fixed will continue to use it.
I currently have the $25 off $50 from Sept in my rewards (i think it showed as "birthday" or "anniversary" or something?).
Does anyone know if you can have multiple $25 off $50 offers in your account? Or will adding this one replace the other one?

You can have multiple, I have 7 rewards. With all these recent generic ones and some restaurant-specific ones you can claim from most participating places' websites.
Thanks I have 3 of these $25 off $50 coupons I need to burn over the next 2-4 weeks lol
Spend $100+. Split the bill (with yourself), eg $50 for one and the remaining on the rest. You can apply a reward to each split bill as long as the portion meets the minimum spend.
Keep an eye on the tip amount though—if I remember correctly it defaults to the pre split amount, for example I split $100, but calculates tip percentages on the $100 not the $50.

I ended up just using it once on a $96 bill.
