Back from when I had a need for such things I considered them unquestionably superior to anything else I tried. But it's been a long, long time since I've used a pencil for anything more than marking a cut.

These are good, but the Staedtler ones erase a bit better. Pentel, though, is an order of magnitude better than the pink rubber erasers.
