I don't have anything that uses a wired, 2.5Gb, but have a LOT of devices inside the home.

Totally depends on the size of your home. I have these WiFi 7 ones with a long hallway and the connection totally relies on the main router placement, so it drops effectiveness a bit the further away the mesh is. I would guess if you're looking for more range, the 6E ones are going to prove better.
