This one is 250 Watts which is really weak.
Right now in Walmart you can get a 600-Watt NutriBullet for only $48

I got this a year ago from WM on a SD for $15. It is heavy duty and works great. If you plan to use it often, this price is still well worth it. I just looked and what I think is the same set on WM now is $70. Ouch!

Manufacturers need to start counting screws toward that total, just so the consumer knows the great value proposition.

Is anyone aware of any small smoothie blenders like this but use glass as the container? Just curious if one exists.

Not exactly the same but an immersion blender is basically the same thing just not a totally closed system which enables you to choose your container and container material.

So are these not ideal for rough to fine chop of veggies, like a mirepoix? Seems those shorty blades won't allow the contents at the top of the cup to work down until you have some pureed veggies that started at the bottom.

What's WM? If you are referring to WalMart they have an online deal for $15. It's on Slickdeals
