in case you care, a reviewer posted this warmer consumes 60w during heatup,
while most single mug warmers of this type (there are hundreds) consume 40w.

This is so wasteful. 30 seconds of a microwave at 1000 watts = 8.3 wh for piping hot coffee. 16.6 wh if you want it near boiling. That, or get a thermos to keep your coffee hot if you're a sipper.

Agreed, I've sipped on coffee in a yeti tumbler and it will still be warm after 2-3 hours.

If you just prefer a mug, put it in the micro for a few seconds if it takes you that long to finish a 8oz cup lol.

This just seems like a solution for barely a problem

I'm just gonna ahead and say that microwaved coffee has an altered taste that some don't care for, myself included.

There's a science to coffee, not a fantasy. Reheating coffee and keeping it hot do the same thing, continue the brewing process. Arguably, 30 seconds of heating will do less for continuing the brewing than keeping the mug hot. There's nothing magical about microwave heating. Drinking from these mug warmers three hours later is exactly like drinking from the pot of coffee that has sit on the brewer heating pad for three hours.

bruh any insulated steel bottle x100 better. My owala keeps coffee hot all day and this crap(other brand) that I have on my standing desk can barely do anything. Yeah it warms the mug but not the liquid
