I doubt Costco will lower the price any further for BF. Anyone who remembers last year, BF deals were basically non-existent on headline products like this.

Not really.

MSRP on the DJI Osmo 360 is $500, on sale for $413, and it only comes with a lens cap and a single battery. This comes with a 256GB microSD card, a second battery, and one of their "invisible" selfie sticks. I haven't seen any head-to-head comparisons so I don't know which camera has better quality, but when similar items are included in the kit the price is just about the exact same for both of them.

Your phone can't do 360 video capture. This is good for capturing everything around you at once, but requires you to edit the video later to set your framing. You can get some interesting video angles/transitions/etc, but it takes work and time.

Not familiar at all with these but I think I would want something like this over a gopro... heard it's super easy to scratch the lense though. How do you mitigate that when doing active things that might involve a fall?
