Same, I'm waiting for the Meta Quest 4 in hopes that they might finally move on to oled....That and also when their software gets fixed as I've been having annoying buggy issues with my meta quest 2 ever since they started move to their new OS
OLED would be a mistake. I own an Apple Vision Pro. While OLED is great for movies, you can't move your head or body without OLED screens blurring. games aren't as playable on OLED, if at all. MicroLED or mini LED would be better
Are you saying I shouldn't be getting anl good oled tv for gaming (even tho it's the only TV to look like a real life image therefor the only TV worth getting)? Or are you saying Zuck uses a 99 cent oled screen that sucks? Cause I was gonna get an oled tv for sure but seems wasteful if all I'll ever really use it for is gaming

The meta subscription is like a game pass with a rotating library (40+) of games, its well worth the price ($60 a year) if you plan to play various different games often. By default you get one month free if you create a meta account with a used headset (3 if its a new headset).
Both deals are good and worth it. I'm a big VR fan so I got the 3 for the best experience.

I'm not sure what this person's experience is, but they're only talking about VR headsets, not TVs. OLED is great for gaming. I like my Samsung Odyssey + VR headset with OLED. I can't see how OLED would blur if you move your head. The goggles are attached to your head, so they'll move with your eyes and you'll be staring at the exact same pixels whenever you move your head. OLED is great because the blacks are truely black, which is helpful when the screen is just a few inches from your eyeballs.
In regard to CRT vs LCD, I prefer the crispness of LCD over everything CRT offers. Aperture Grill CRTs had beautiful colors, but turned fuzzy over time (plus the two thin stabilizer bars were annoying). Shadow Mask CRTs maintained a semblance off crispness, but the Shadow Mask was noticeable and washed out the colors.
Plus, CRT edge distortion, susceptibility to magnetic interference, weighing a ton, taking up a huge amount of space, and being limited to smaller screens (19 inch screens were so deep). I don't miss CRTs in the slightest. I feel like people are romanticizing them.
