Some electronic tariffs went into place in October but honestly it's really hard to keep track of it all

This is more expensive than the same bundle i bought in 2022. Newer model since then but doesnt seem like much of a discount. Not sure if tariffs effected the kindle, though i suspece some companies jack up prices to take advantage of the confusion.

just bought one of these. having never had a Kindle before, I guess my expectations weren't reasonable, but the performance felt like it was using a potato for a CPU. sent that thing right straight back. the margins on these must be huge.

eInk is just really really slow.

Well, the processors probably aren't blazing fast since they purposefully don't want to be performant, but eInk is dog slow to update.

I haven't needed to buy a new e-reader in years, what is a reasonable price for the latest paperwhite if this is overpriced?

Been debating between this model or a kobo something. I like the matte screens so I haven't really been looking at the color models

can you not just go through the trade in process on the product page?

it is kind of crazy when comparing the pricing for the kindle readers to the kindle fires

No because I already did the trade in process so I have my coupon when I go to the trade in page. But I'm not sure how to make the 20% off work when I check out. Thanks for responding by the way.

Kids Paperwhite is $135 + 20% off with trade-in coupon + 10% cashback on Amazon Storecard. Comes with case and no ads. Gets you to around $100 before any trade-in value.
