Any good and detailed installation videos on how to install these for heat pumps and gas furnaces?
I learned the hard way to avoid these "smart" thermostats. There is no control over auxiliary heat, or gas furnaces for that matter. Stick to the old school thermostats for full functionality.

Do you specifically mean these Amazon Smart Thermostats or all WiFi Smart Thermostats? I had Honeywell Smart Thermostats and they controlled everything fine.
