I don't know if the prices are different between warehouses, but cashews and pecans are both slightly cheaper (less than $1) on the 2-day site than my warehouse.

After playing around with it, I discovered that all of the items must have the $25 off $125 label on them. There are some 2-day items that don't and they aren't working for me. It is annoying because I really need napkins and none of them qualify.

I have found that the increase in price for online items tends to cover the cost of shipping. They say free shipping but the price may reflect and extra $5 or more than if purchased in store from my experience.

Usually add 20-30%

Majority, if not all items at Sam's are same price whether it is in club, same day delivery from the club or shipping.

That's a bummer.

Nothing. The markups on some of the stuff is insane. I was thinking about it since one of the perks of the executive membership is something like $10 or $20 per month off instacart.
My last costco trip, it would have added a 40% markup after all the fees and the markups of the actual products. My total markup for my basket without the fees was 28% (just what they markup). Add a "stiff" 10% tip, you're at 54% markup, 20% you're at a 69% markup.
Unless you're sick, disabled, or incredibly rich, there's no way I could ever warrant spending $169+ on a regular costco haul that would cost you $100 in the store.

I'm not a Costco member but have been considering it with some recent sign up deals. are you all saying that Costco is MORE expensive than other stores? or just their website? otherwise Im very confused why people love these warehouse clubs if they are a money suck. supposed to be the opposite. thanks for your advice.

The $3/item fee is waived once your cart has $75 or more in 2-day items.
