You can blame your local carrier for that. Do you think Greenworks personally grabs the box from the warehouse and personally hand delivers it to you?

Greenworks thinks delivering products in this condition is acceptable. You've been warned.

How is this with mulching? I have a Honda, which are great at mulching, but it's getting on the older side.

I live on the sixth floor of an apartment complex but this is too good of a deal to pass up. Put me down for 4 of them.

Is it not protected in cardboard or some other similar packing material inside? I mean, this is something that's going to be rolling around outside in the dirt; who cares what the box looks like?

Greenworks is responsible for anything that happens during shipping obviously so your point is useless.

The actual unit was roughed up pretty bad. If I opened it up and the unit was fine I wouldn't care.

What does that mean, roughed up? The mower, made of metal and reinforced plastic, was inside the box. The box was banged up but not fully punctured. What happened exactly to the mower?

You shared a picture of a beat up box. Can you share a picture of the roughed up lawnmower?

Wow do you work for Greenworks? So you think paying hundreds of dollars and getting a box like this is acceptable? We will have to agree to disagree.

I had a similar experience, the box looked like it went through a blender. The mower was fine though. In my experience their customer service/warranty was top notch, made up for the bad delivery

No. I think you like to complain without understanding the entire picture. If the product is damaged inside, sure. I'm wrong. But here's why: The shipping company is at fault for any damages. You can not blame a company for abuse from a shipping company or distributor. Now if the company poorly packages the product, resulting in damages... no matter how gentle a distributor or shipping company is then sure its on the company. But to "warn" others of a company without an understanding of what's really wrong, is poor practice and not cool.So asking for "proof" by providing a picture for us is actually helpful. Complaining with no merit is not helpful

Does anyone have any experience with this mower or vouch for it being a good deal? Not sure whether it's worth waiting or not.

Tbh to me it feels like you either do work for Greenworks or you are the one who likes to take issue with what others say. The OP doesn't need to provide "proof" for everything. It is their experience and whether you believe it or not doesn't make any difference. Secondly, I ordered a pressure washer from them and one of the wheel came broken because their "packaging" is terrible with no protective cushioning or anything at all. I have plenty of things that I have ordered that were clearly handled terribly but had no damage inside because of great packaging. It is the responsibility of the company who manufactures and packages the product to ensure that they survive shipping. Because it's well known that no shipping companies care about delivering your product with utmost care.
