As someone who has a set of wired cloud alphas and a wireless Arctis set, there's something very satisfying when I reach for my wired set and don't have that battery anxiety looming over me or knowing that whether I had it plugged in is not a factor for some spontaneous gaming. A cable from my ear to my controller has never been a dealbreaker for me. Seems like a good deal. I would buy HyperX again in a heartbeat.

Not wireless
Having shredded too many headphone cords with my chair or they wrap themselves in the wheels the likes of which Harry Houdini could not undo, never again.

Showing $39.99 for me. Haven't use a wired headset in a while, might try these out for with Battlefield.

These are very high quality for the price, especially on sale like this.

Yeah my Cloud IIs have some damage to the wires from that. But I still prefer it to dealing with battery issues and audio lag.

Make sure they work for Xbox. Not many HyperX models do unless it's specifically mentioned.

Since they got bought out by hp, the quality went down. I can attest to that since my headsets cups and top started flaking in less than a year. But a model from 6 years ago still doesn't have that issue (but the cord got broken unfortunately)

Ex-employee of HP here - can confirm. HP is notorious for buying companies and ruining products. They haven't innovated anything in years. Reinvent my ass. 🤣

FWIW our household has two cloud alphas from 5 years ago both started flaking on the ear cups at about year 3-4.

My headset battery lasts over month lol. Is that not normal with headsets or something?
