Ok so I always do this deal. Yes it gives you paramount+ free. My current account expires in a month or two so I used a different email.

ADDED BONUS: as soon as you sign up with code KICKOFF, go to your membership and hit "cancel subscription". They immediately give you an extra few months for free. My new one now expires January 6, 2027. Can't upload a photo as proof but did screenshot it.

I do this deal all the time for paramount+ only and it's so worth it

EDIT: sorry for my bad math everyone 🥴. I apparently am still stuck in 2024 lol. It's just a few extra months not a year. I corrected the statement above.

How exactly? The numbers dont add up here.
Lets say you just renewed for a year, making exp Oct 2026
One added year would be Oct 2027, yet you have Jan 2027 as your exp?

Yea I'm not sure why it's like they gave me an extra year and 3 months but that's what my plan says. Expires January 6th 2027

Disregard my bad math above….

Does this stack with an existing P+ subscription? They finally cut me off after ~7 year trial, so I paid $40 for a year, but if I can add ANOTHER year I think it might be a deal haha
No, won't stack.

They don't give an extra year when you go to quit, they give an extra few months, their math was off. One small caveat: when you've received extra free months like this, set your reminder to cancel for real just very shortly before the next billing date. Let's say it's set to expire Jan 2027, and your extra free months started in Nov 2026. Anytime in those free three months if you go to cancel early so you won't forget, thinking it will still be active until Jan 2027, it won't be. It won't keep the account active until the original end date - it ends it right then.

That's been my experience, I messed up before and lost a month or two of the free add-on time I had gotten earlier when I originally pretended to cancel to get the free extension.

It actually states, "Paramount+: If you pay full price for a SportsLine subscription, you will receive a 30 day free trial for the Paramount+ Essential plan."
A 30 day free trial? Wow, thanks.

Can you not read?

This deal has been posted 15 times over the last few years. It always, ALWAYS gives you 12(15) months. I've done it 3 times already.

My previous Sportsline plan ended in July. I picked up this deal Aug 23rd (1yr =$40) regretting a bit that it wasn't as inexpensive as the last deal, but whatever. At the time I was afraid that Paramount+ (no commercials) would not extend past the 30 days they seem to indicate. However, I am happy to report that as of today (2nd week of October) that Paramount (no ads) is still going strong, AND Sportsline is now extended from Aug 23 to Nov 23 at no extra cost since I went through the 'cancel' protocol.

The new Dexter season was actually really good

What happens if I'm already on a Parmount Plus monthly subscription? Can I add it today and it will make it 12 months or do I need to wait to link once my month ends?

I've been doing this deal for years (one year it was less than a dollar for the year!). Most recently subscribed in June, and still have ad-free para+. I've never had a problem getting my full year of ad-free para+ and showtime.

If you're saying wording has changed recently on requiring a full-price subscription, I know I'd be reading up on a lot of recent user experiences here and maybe reddit before signing up. This company always has had some degree of wording that makes it sound like you get less than what they actually give you, there's always a bit of a risk they one day start doing what they claim they're going to do. I'd just check out what recent subscribers are saying as far as if they signed up since wording changed and if they still get the freebie sub to para+.
That less than a dollar deal was one of the best slickdeals I've gotten! lol Makes this $40 deal not as attractive (even though it really is). Wink And yeah, the 30 day wording was there even back on that first deal.

You can't tack this on to extend an existing subscription. If it were me, if I had a subscription that runs out in a month, I'd start a new account to take up this offer now. And go ahead and tell the current one to cancel, and set a reminder to make sure the current account actually does cancel and I'm not charged. Shouldn't be a problem, but I like to doublecheck that canceled accounts really are stopped, whether there's a possible problem on their end or it was me that meant to cancel but somehow didn't.

Oh yay! The deal I posted totally worked. I just relinked P+. I had lost sportsline/P+ a week or two ago. Used the same email as before for Sportsline and used KICKOFF. (Did change CC, not sure if that was needed.) Then logged into P+ and it asked me to sign up. Used the link SD mods added to this deal and signed into Sportsline through P+ and I'm all set! Showtime, too!

I didn't have the nerve to try it. Thanks SD community/guinea pigs! Cheers

Also, the extend sportsline (and thus P+) by two months trick by going to account -> cancel also works. In the past, right after you cancel for real (now 14 months in the future), they send you an email that says "send an email to [email protected] and we'll give you another 2 months free." YMMV, but look for that email.

When I cancelled for real a couple of months ago, I got an email saying to email [email protected] and they'll give me another 2 months free. It worked. Not sure if it'll work again for me, but a general heads up.

It was a typo I assume -- they generally add three months for free.
