Might just jump on this when it goes live. Good price on a 5060 with an incredible screen. 2560 x 1600 OLED 500-1000 (peak) nits.

It appears there is at least one open slot. https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/L...83M0004AUS

Use Psref

It has 1 free slot for adding 16gb more for a total of 32gb RAM

I am trying to find a 16 inch laptop that can do some gaming(mostly other games and free epic store) for under $1000. I am trying to search for ones on sale for the next 2 days but not really finding a solid one that screams buy me! I have $300 credit at Dell so I would ideally like to buy it from there and they price match so that works too. Has anyone here seen any good deals for laptops in my price range?

Good review for this model. Doesn't seem to have many weaknesses! https://www.notebookcheck.net/The...975.0.html

Have they improved the charging port on these? Because I just got rid of a Lenovo Legion where the charging port failed...... I really like Lenovo stuff but not sure I could buy one with that charging port again.

The square yellow rectangle? I've never heard of that failing once. Seemed to be an actual strength of Lenovo laptops compared with some other manufacturers.

Wish they had this August last year. Bought only a LOQ (Ryzen 5 8645HS, RTX4050) for $590 on Lenovo's eBay store.

It's actually the internal part that wears out. I don't know how common it is, I guess common enough that it happened to me and other people on the internet.

It wasn't a sudden failure or anything, obviously it's from being used, but it still makes me hesitant 🤷 ♀️

Yes, OLED + gaming laptop usually means you're going to have to plug it in most all of the time...
