It's not powerful but its a decent one for a basic diy homeowner. Made by active, not as good as the last version, but I've still been able to clean my fences and driveway with a little more effort. Comes with a soap dispenser so also good for your car.

I would say yes. I can do my concrete board siding. It doesn't have a good gpm like most cheap units but it will eventually get things done, just might take a little more time. I washed my fence to stain and all my sidewalks. Also look into soft washing, depending on your siding and plans, you can just get chlorinating liquid for pools at Walmart, dilute it, spray with the soap sprayer and then get any stubborn areas after.

Powerful enough to power wash a house?

Thanks. My grandma has aluminum siding. She was wanting to do it next year but the quotes she received were very highAlso, the concrete base around her house is painted but the paint is chipping. So I was thinking of removing it and painting it for her

Now it probably won't be good enough to remove the paint, other than the loose stuff. A really high pressure one would likely take the paint off. It's a great unit for $100-150. The company makes good units for car washing, just not under the Cat name, the older version was a lot better, but I'll still take this over a sun joe.
Tempting, been looking at the Karcher K1700 for some time now. I can't find any good reviews comparing the two, but simply comparing psi between the two, it seems like the Cat (Active) is a better unit?
