I wish there was a better range of reputable office chair. Seems like $80 for an eXXXXtreme gaming chair that falls apart in a week or $800+ for a good one. There are surely chairs in the $300-400 range but I'm not spending that much unless I know they are worth it.

The Serta Big and Tall office chairs that are about $400 have served me VERY well for about the last 8 years. I weigh 285 lbs, and the seat isn't even worn out because it is made with bedsprings. They have different tiers. You want the one with bedsprings in the seat.
Unfortunately it's still fake leather. Not terrible fake leather, but just like all of the fake leathers, it will start to wear poorly over time. My chair at 8 years is just now starting to show some baldness near my head position. I wish they charged a couple hundred extra and made them out of real leather.

You might be able to call but I don't think they show stock online.
