Its across the board updates. Hardware, software charging, battery life, screen etc. Dual gps is especially nice for fitness tracking. Im waiting for black Friday in hopes of any deal on the 41mm lte pixel watch 4.

Slightly thinner bezels
New charging dock, much faster charging speeds
Brighter screen
Much longer battery life
Personal AI health coach
Gemini (of course)
Dual-band GPS
Satellite communication
Repairable
Pixel Watch 4 vs Pixel Watch 3: things that have stayed the same
Same RAM and Storage (2/32GB)
Same IP68/5ATM water and dust resistance
Same hardware sensors
Same prices ($350 for 41mm, $400 for 45mm base model)
Not trying to be a hater, but I want to reframe some of your points as percentages rather than absolutes. I find that helpful when comparing things.
While 2mm might sound like a "slight" increase, it's 16 percent thicker on what I already a very thick watch compared to some traditional watches or an apple watch (less than 10mm). Personally I think making these thicker is going in the wrong direction. I was hoping to see a thinner next gen. Oh well, I can dream.
Rather than saying much faster charging, I'd state what has been claimed: 25 percent faster. however, I already charge once daily for about 20 minutes and I'm good. That is with using AoD and tilt to wake functions which increase battery drain. Not sure what the much increased battery life is on the top of my head, but again, I was already getting a day plus out of the PW3. Unless they get it to 2+ days I'm not sure this matters much.
Lastly, on price, you say it's 150 more. Actually, it's 179 more, but in percentages, this is 49 percent of the cost of a brand new PW4.
If you want a thinner watch and won't miss some of the new features that come with the PW4, I will echo the sentiment that this is an excellent deal. I personally don't think the PW4 offers any killer upgrade to be worth the extra price over this and I see the extra thickness as a downgrade.
There's a few Used - Like New on Amazon Resale with an extra 35% off at checkout. Just got a Wi-Fi 45mm in polished silver (Used - Mint) for $137.22 before tax.

excellent deals tho this is a generation it's worth to pay the extra $150 for the Pixel Watch 4 if you can afford it, massive changes unlike watch 2 to 3.

Sometimes it's a roll of the dice that the 35% deal pops up on the main item page. You have to click through to the other buying options to see what's available for 35% off. Good hunting, there's still a few options left.

No doubt the PW4 has some nice improvements.

I wanted the Pixel 4, but I saw that the trade-in value for a Pixel 3 was $140. So I figured I could just get this and it's probably good enough. Worst case, I can trade it in on Black Friday for barely any loss.
I usually use a phone that's a generation or two behind so thinking it's not a big deal.

Does this do ECGs? I want a watch that can. The Galaxy series can, but it will only function with Samsung phones - which I don't have. Would love to find a watch that does ECG regardless of the host phone manufacturer.
