I was looking up the state with the highest minimum wage that this brand has locations for. According to an article, a large cheese pizza back in the day, $1.50 on $1.00/hr. at Pizza Hut would be $10.875 on $7.25/hr. today. In California that would be $16.50/7.25 = 2.27x = $24.69. So someone in CA could afford that easily over someone making $7.25/hr. Regular large cheese pizza at this place would be $17.99, which makes it even more affordable on $16.50/hr.

I feel like some of these chains are really geared more to higher cost of living states than $7.25/hr. states. I was surprised to see this deal in Alabama and I was thinking that they would starve if it was that much there.

Edit: Large cheese pizza in Alabama is $13, almost two times $7.25/hr.! Hopefully, the family is rationing slices for two meals. Family of 4 only gets 1 slice per meal time. Then Johnny and Jennifer get a slice for school lunch the next day.
