you know I'm about done with slick deals and it's BS regular price postings. $77 for this item with a 79% off tag just puts eyes on something that is really only $22 plus. this phenomenon of lying about stuff just to slip it through to the idiots has got to stop.

The price you listed is the typical price which may indicate what something usually sells for or reflects a recent sale price. Finding the actual list price in some situations can be difficult and is not an exact science, as even price comparison sites may provide different list prices. But as you point out, in this case the typical price seems to have run between around $17 and $65 this year, with the most recent in the upper $20s.
