These will likely come registered to the previous owner. To do a hard reset plug into a power source and hold the button for 30s until the light stops blinking

Used over-ear and replace the pads? Maybe. But I do not understand why anybody would buy used earbuds. Slickdeal or not.

The hysteria over used earbuds is rivaled perhaps only by most hikers' insistence that they filter every sip of water, even if it comes from a glacial stream 200 miles away from the nearest inhabited area and is much purer than their bottled water. A quick wipe with rubbing alcohol takes care of any concern over hygiene. And replacement silicone tips are a few bucks.

I bought these the last time they were on sale and they were nowhere near "like new". The case was very dirty and they STUNK!
Others got scammed with pixel bud 1s shoved into the 2 pro case.
caveat emptor...
