1) not sure if you've been following the news but most candy makers have raised their prices since August.
2) rather than claiming that it isn't a good price, show us a comparable deal at a lower price. If you don't have one to share, then kindly don't thread crap.

That's absurd. Of course the per ounce price is going to be less on that quantity. Not everyone needs that much candy to hand out on Halloween. So if you have no use for 1/2 of it and you throw it in the garbage, what have you saved? Nothing.
For this quantity, this is the LOWEST PRICE available online. Target has it for $15 or about this price if you use the red card.
NOTE: I said COMPARABLE, not the same thing.
