Any experience with this dell line up? My 13 year old XPS 13 is still going strong. Does this one is as reliable as old XPS?

The plus one step up from base model "Dell", and is the Inspiron successor. XPS was replaced with the Pro line. New Lineup is Dell, Dell Pro, Dell Pro Max, with base/plus/premium as sub tiers. See the rebrand details here: https://liliputing.com/dell-intro...x-laptops/

I tried the 16" version of this with the 258V at best buy last month and wasn't impressed for the full retail price, so you might need to see it in person to evaluate what price it should be. The main issues for me were that the speakers were too quiet at max volume and didn't sound very good either. Keyboard on these was kind of mushy feeling and not much tactile feedback, screen felt really basic but maybe the higher PPI on the 14" would help it look sharper for text. I was surprised that this was the only Lunar Lake based laptop that visibly lagged on basic desktop function, but that may have been a fluke with the Best Buy model I encountered. Felt like Dell dropped the ball to me.

That's a pretty decent deal, especially with TB4, ARC iGPU, and that fast ram. Curious how color accurate the screen is, but that 1600p resolution is impressive.

Wow how did your XPS 13 last that long?! My battery was crap after year 5 I think. Anyways, I've bought the 16" version of this laptop a few months ago. Very solid for the price point. Love the resolution.
