Good deal.

The 258V is an efficient chip for heat battery power and solid single core performance. While it does lack multi core power the 140V iGPU will keep up with the 890m.

The 2k screen while not 3k is very nice and hard to beat for under $750.

Wishing this was the 3K version. I've seen that one and it is very good. Wonder how much of a difference this 2K is in comparison.

got one of these previously for the 3k screen for around $850. i will wait for the 3k screen.

The 2k is fine and more than useable, looks good especially on a 14" screen.

IMO I am also waiting to see a Zenbook 14" 32gb 1tb with the 285H or AI 370 cpu 3k screen for about $1000. Best Buy had one on sale two months ago, hoping to see it again for BF.

Basically the 3K screen must have the 370 amd cpu for the 890m gpu, None of the intel gpus are fast enough to drive it.

The 860 and 880m are also not fast enough.

I have this exact laptop from a previous deal early this year. For that price, it's great. It's not a premium feeling laptop by any means, but the 258V is great. Never timed it, but easily got more than a work day out of the battery. Screen is good, not great. I don't regret my purchase

You clearly haven't used one. The 140v is extremely anemic a gpu. It won't drive any serious application at 3K res. It can barely handle 1080p. It's a web browsing only machine.

890m is 40% faster than 140v.
