Not true about Costco. I recently returned a $600 Dyson v15 after 1.5 years no problem and no questions asked.

I own this vacuum and it's overall a good vacuum with a lot of attachments (I did get mine from Costco) but it's not great on certain rugs it will get stuck everytime even on lowest setting....only rug it can go on for me is the ruggable style one. Just a heads up.

Lucky me. Ordered a Bissell Upholstery Cleaner for $80. Got the wrong product and ended up with this vacuum.

Guess I got a real slickdeal

How is it abuse? I went to the store, explained the situation, and politely asked them what my options were, and they said they would take it back and give me a full refund.
Yeah, most of us haven't seen them take returns like that for a few years now.

Was coming in here to say this, I bought this vacuum for $150 from Costco and returned it because it would get stuck/shut off on the lowest pile area rug. If you have all tile, wood and the thinnest rugs imaginable, you should be good but otherwise I would not suggest getting this

I have this vacuum. I think I like it more than my Dyson V8 so far. It seems a bit more sturdy. Maybe a little more bulky in some areas. The LED is very helpful for seeing all the fur on the floor. The extra battery is nice to have too.
If you mount it to the wall, make sure not to mount it in the corner like I did, my attachments won't fit on the wall mount since the adjacent wall is there. doh.

Besides the obvious, why get a cordless vacuum like this? Having to constantly cycle between batteries seems like a hassle and you have the overall power issue. Or is this not the case with cordless vacuums? never had one.
