i have the Mova version of this (this one is slightly better) and its great. Even better than I hoped and the software is great. I would have got this instead at this price. The mop works very well on my kitchen and bathroom floors and its very easy to empty the dirty water tank.

I have the L30 model, love it, highly recommend this. The sensors on it are top notch and it does a great job of cleaning. This avoids kids toys, cords, etc. At this price it is a great investment to save you time.

Was on the fence on the L40 during prime days. This extra $15 off pushed me over. Ordered.

I bought the L20 refurb on a slick deal this time last year ($525 + tax which was a slick deal at the time, about twice what they sell for now) and it has been awesome in my most challenging floor plan. Even though refurb, it looked basically new.

Because of this I ordered the L40 which is a bunch of improvements and new features refurb for $350, and it will be delivered tomorrow. I can then move my L20 to my next most challenging section, the Roborock Q Revo Plus (also great, but not as good as the L20) to the next one, etc.

I will post how the L40 works out for future slick dealers...

The spin mop design is outdated now, unless you really want to save money if getting older tech go the refurbished route with a warranty.

How does this compare to EUFY E28? We have one on another floor, but hard to spend another 800 for the 1st floor. $400 L40 works as well esp on Porcelain matte tile?

I didn't know that spin mops were already outdated, it was only like a year or two ago that they were the new thing vs. a single pad that vibrated. Assuming that the newest stuff is like $600-$1500, getting older stuff for $350 is the bus I want to get on Big Grin. THe L20 with spin mops that I have already does a pretty dang good job, I just have to run it a couple/few times if there are some really dirty parts to clean up what was smeared around on the first pass.

Most spinning mops still clean better than roller & track mops. Unless you are trying to continuously mop wet spills in most cases spinning mops are still as effective and are less maintenance. They can also get closer to objects like table or chair legs and corners than even extendable roller/track mops can get. Rollers/tracks are the future but you aren't going to find any really good ones in the $400 price point.

I got this about 6 months ago. I was worried with all the reviews about random malfunctions mentioned on reddit and the terrible support. I was able to get it for under 400 and decided to give it a try.

My unit ended up not having any issues. My main floor is 1400 sq feet with 75% hardwood.

Some recommendations:
1. Put a cap full of the refill solution into the clean water tank.
2. Put a denture cleaning tablet into the dirty water tank to make it not stink.

3. The 3rd party mop pads are crap. Tons of swirls. Use the OEM only for this part.

The Yeedi brand vac has a roller that extends and that tech is pretty much the future cause it cleans itself as it goes and does not have a 10-15 minute preset cycle to clean its mop like the spinner do. That being said the cheapest its been on sale was $599 so far might have been at $549 once but the prices are coming down for sure. I am guessing black friday we will see some for $499.

The rollers still go back to the dock to clean the roller and empty their dirty water tanks. Most of them take 8+ mins to clean the roller at the station and thus take longer than spinning mops to clean a given area. The marketing is strong on these roller mops.
